Princess Bonnie Beatrice

Princess Bonnie Beatrice, commonly and lovingly referred to as "Bea", is quite a beauty. She is one of the five female offspring Princess Leia has on the ground. She is however, the first dark rose grey, and we are thrilled with Bea.

Bea is an amazingly fleeced young female. She sure put a lot of effort into her first fleece, having a staple that almost extended past normal spinning capabilities! Not to mention the incredible handle just like her dam, Leia. We are confident she will carry on to maintain a low micron as she ages too. Bea also has very nicely defined character throughout the extent of the staple length; it is a fine and frequent crimp.

Bea has quite a colorful lineage behind her, to include some deep Chilean color on her dam's side and part of her sire's. She also has some colored Peruvian, carrying the 4Peruvian Matador line behind her sire, HC Royal Coachman. Coach's dam, "Queen" is an incredibly elegant black beauty who is a deep color producer herself, throwing three very dark(BB/TB) offspring in a row.

 Bea has been exposed to Radica, our finely fleeced true black herdsire, for a fall 2010 cria. Radica is out of two grays , and a black or gray offspring would be just fine with us.
